To the Makley siblings, I send my sincere condolences. Your Mom was lovely; she was kind and warm and always so welcoming. At the same time, though, she was very strong, proud of the smart, accomplished kids she was raising, and resilient during tough times. May good memories bring you and your loved ones comfort.
