MARGARET MADERT

She was always kind to me when I was a latchkey kid living next door.

She was always ready to support by baking a pound cake.

It was with shock and sadness that I learned of Margaret's passing. For all the time I knew her (over 25 years), she served the community at large and the Woodside family. Friendly, positive, with generosity and great good sense. A woman rightfully appreciated and admired. My deepest condolences to her family. May God comfort you.

To a Lady I have known since I was a kid at Woodside UMC. I am sorry for the family's loss. She rests easy now.

I send my sincere condolences during this very difficult time. May you all find comfort from the encouraging words found at 1 Thessalonians 4:14.

Margaret was such a blessing and encouragement to me when we lived in Silver Spring. She helped the young women serve alongside UMW, both teaching us and letting us do things our way. I still carry her spirit of joyful service and balance of tradition/innovation with me.

Margaret was so dear to me and my daughter Caitlin. Throughout our time at Woodside UMC she nurtured us through rough times, but more than that she helped us laugh and enjoy the fellowship and family we so fondly remember. We treasure her friendship and easy nature. Sending our heartfelt love and prayers to all her family.
