Not sure what to say?

I wanted to put this lovely photograph of "The Golden Girls" (left to right Florence Rinaldi, Margaret Martin, Stella Mezatesta & Marge's sister Ann Black) here for all to see. Circa 1983. Marge's son Donald is the one who dubbed these four beautiful women "The Golden Girls". The "Golden Girls" celebrated each of their birthdays first at Marge's apartment where she made the most delicious dinners including her famous chocolate covered strawberries and whatever cake each of the girls...

I was truly blessed to be reconnected with my family. My Great Aunt Margie. She welcomed me with and open heart. I was blessed to be able to spend time with her and the family before she went home. I love you all for that blessing. My prayers are with the family. I know what a loss this was. Thank you for allowing me to be there. I will never forget it.
Love, Christine Falcone Foster (Nancie's daughter)

Marge,

As your Sister, Friend, Confidant, you are the dearest to my heart. When you went to GA. – I used to count the days when you were to come home. I’ll miss my shopping buddy. What am I going to do with all my coupons? I was with you when you died. You were so beautiful, serene & peaceful. I held your hand & stroked your forehead & you looked like you were sleeping & I told you weren’t alone. You suffered so much. I took you to the doctor Dec. 17th. From that day on you...

Aunt Margie, Me & Natalie... My 1st bday! <3

I will miss my Aunt Margie more than anything. She was a great friend to my mother and with out her I wouldn't have one of my best friends since I was born. She was one of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! I love her! And she will be in our hearts forever!

For Margaret's Family: My husband & I had many fond memories of Margaret @ Critella's. We used to eat there twice a week in the 80's - Margaret became a close friend, she even did some Christmas shopping for my husband. She was a fine lady and a joy to visit with.

Please accept our deepest sympathies. Thought this picture would make you smile. Our Dad (Emery Holmes) is standing in the middle.

We're sorry we couldn't be there for Aunt Marge's calling hours or the funeral service. I was sick. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
