Margaret A. McMichael

Margaret A. (nee Darcy) McMichael, 91, of Hillside, N.J., passed away on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, N.J. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 30, 2013, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Growney Funeral Home, 1070 North Broad St., Hillside, N.J., www.growneyfuneral.com. The funeral will be on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, at 8 a.m., then to a 9 a.m. Funeral Mass at Christ the King Church, Hillside, N.J. Interment is at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, N.J. Margaret was born in Jersey City and lived in Hillside for the past 55 years. She was a secretary for the department of transportation in Hillside, N.J. She also was the past secretary for the Hillside Historical Society. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis McMichael, and devoted mother of Raymond McMichael. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
