Margaret Veneta Peabody

Margaret was a special person in our lives. She will be missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed life and her family. She always enjoyed attending the Higley reunions. She had a special relationship with our youngest son Brian when they were in Muscotah taking care of Emma's things. We will miss you Aung Marg.

I only met Margaret once. My grandmother is also a resident at Arbor and my 12-year-old daughter visits there often. During one of her visits, she met Margaret, and they became fast friends. Margaret touched my daughters heart with her kindness and love. She will be missed, but remembered as a kind, loving woman. I know my daughter will never forget the friendship they sharred.

What a wonderful Christian. What a wonderful lady. What a wonderful Aunt. She believed in Christ and followed his teachings. She also believed in our family.

It was my pleasure to meet Margaret when she came to paint during a weekly volunteer painting session at Arbor which was organized by Wanda Bechthold and I assisted. WOW!! Margaret could paint!!! It was always a thrill to see what she could create in a few hours. Such a lovely, friendly lady. I was blessed to meet her. I know that Wanda framed several of her paintings and gave them to her family. I realized that I actually knew her grand-daughter Paige! I had taught with Paige at Lodi...
