Not sure what to say?

I MET MARGARET ON A SOUTHWEST MEDICAL AID TRIP TO GUATEMALA. SHE AND TWELVE OTHERS OF US ASSISTED IN BUILDING A HOME WITH AND FOR A MAYAN INDIAN FAMILY. I REMEMBER MARGARET SO VERY WELL...WITH HER WILLINGNESS TO DO WHATEVER WAS REQUIRED ON THE JOB SITE. I ESPECIALLY REMEMBER HOW SHE WOULD HOIST HEAVY CEMENT BLOCKS AROUND THE AREA AS WE WERE PUTTING UP THE WALLS. NEVER A COMPLAINT FROM HER, JUST A JOYFUL WILLINGNESS TO DO WHAT WAS NECESSARY. A MARVELOUS LADY. I LOVE YOU MARGARET. GOD...

Ten years later, I can still see Margaret’s bright smile and hear her laughter! What a lovely human being. How grateful I am to have gotten to know her. I have a bracelet she brought back to me from one of her adventures. I miss her. Thank you for posting this Rememberance ten years later. I wish her family well.

I can hear Margaret's laughter and see her face clearly in my mind. I hope to keep that forever. I met Margaret at TMC and always looked forward to our conversations. I admired her adventuresome spirit and her bravery in making travel plans on her own. She always seemed very engaged in Life, moving forward, facing issues head-on. I feel so sad that I did not get to tell Margaret goodbye!

I met Margaret in 1969 when we moved next door to her in White Rock NM. We became best friends, sorority sisters and did a lot of things together. We were neighbors for 10 yrs. We have kept in touch all these years and were able to see each other several times. I am glad that I was able to visit with her in Tucson this last February. I will miss her very much. Margo and David, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

i had the privilege of working with Margaret on one of her Habitat trips..she was a hardworker and a light in this world. She will be missed.

I was fortunate to travel and work with Margaret on different international trips with Habitat for Humanity and Southwest Medical Aid. On one of the building trips, we gave her the nickname of the "block lady"...she just kept carrying those blocks to our building site. An amazing worker. We, her friends, and the world in general, are certainly better because of her. Joe Kelly, Tucson, Arizona

My heart and prayers go out to Margaret's family. I worked with Margaret on Habitat for Humanity trips and roomed with her in Antigua, Guatemala on a trip with Southwest Medical Aid. We were shopaholics and had so much fun. I'll miss her smiling face and quiet laughs.

I just returned from a short trip and learned of Margaret's death. How very sad I feel. I've known her since 1979 @ TVLC. The last time I saw her was in the Surgical holding room @ TMC while I waited w/my husband in preparation of a procedure for him. She was working there and came up to talk w/me. We spent a considerable time together and she was very sympathetic to the journey my husband and I are on w/his illness. She even gave me her phone number, and said i could call her anytime...
