SIDNEY — Margaret "Margo" Russell, career journalist and editor emeritus of Coin World, died in Sidney, Ohio, on Jan. 26, 2015, at the age of 95. Throughout her life, she was often called the "First Lady of Numismatics."

Margo supported me in many ways through many years in numismatics. She was indeed one of the "Great Ladies of the ANA." I am saddened at her passing.

Many of us share your loss, knowing, though, that Margo's influence is never far from our lives. What an accomplished life, being a role model for young women in journalism, let alone a great mom, supporter of the community, warm, gracious and generous.
