Not sure what to say?

This past year I acquired a dollar bill signed on both sides in 1973 by a flock of prominent numismatists and ANA officers. Among them was Margo, who signed using a sketch of a small heart next to "Luv, Margo," with the "o" in her name surrounding the whole works. If you would like to see this interesting note, email me at [email protected].

Especially this year, Margo's influence is alive and well in women's voices and actions. Love to Suzy and Jenny.

Thinking of Margo and wishing you peace and acceptance of a life well lived and well loved.

Margo supported me in many ways through many years in numismatics. She was indeed one of the "Great Ladies of the ANA." I am saddened at her passing.

Many of us share your loss, knowing, though, that Margo's influence is never far from our lives. What an accomplished life, being a role model for young women in journalism, let alone a great mom, supporter of the community, warm, gracious and generous. She deserves her many honors, and now our reflection and celebration through the many lives she touched. Our thoughts are with you. Linda Fifer and Jim Burkhard.

The other day I found a 1946 penny with wheat on the flip-side...who did I think of right away?...Margo Russell. - Hollie Goldberg, Columbus
