We fondly called her the "Mother of Children's Alliance." From the day she helped found the organization, no one was a warmer, stronger, or more loving supporter than Margaret. Her commitment to doing better for all kids continues to inspire us all.

On behalf of the staff and Child Care Resources I want to send our condolences to Margaret's family. Many of us were impacted by Margaret's life; her work and of course her wonderful personality! She was a great leader in the field of Early Learning and served as a role model for many! We will miss her very much!

I'm sorry to hear that Margaret passed away. I work at Northaven Retirement where Margaret lived for several years before moving to Whidbey Island. I always always admired how active and involved she was with various organizations in her later years of life, she was an inspiration to many. Staff and residents missed her when she moved and I still hear her named mentioned in conversation.

Margaret and I loved sharing a few things: being from Montana (she from Ismay and I from Miles City...a few miles away,) being "saddled" with the middle name of Edna, and serving on the first board of directors of the Children's Alliance. She made this world a better place with her daily presence and her life-long works. We are...
