Margaret Jane Scheller

I think of "Aunt Jane" & Aunt Vivian often. They both had such a great impact on my sisters and I growing up. One of my fondest memories with them when I was about 5 or 6 years old. They sailed over from their house in Powhatan Beach to our house in Silver Sands (across Stoney Creek) and took me sailing. It was the only time I remember being with them when it was just me and not a family or group event. We laughed a lot. I was given an `important job´. I was tasked with climbing down...

I will always remember her kindness and hospitality when she graciously welcomed us to her and Vivian's home on the Patapsco River. Ms. Scheller worked with my mother at the time and would invite our large family to come swim and enjoy canoeing. I will never forget those times. What a wonderful person that was so interesting and fun to be with.
