Not sure what to say?

Still miss you Maggie!

You are missed Maggie. Thanks for all the insights over all the years.

Maggie made biology easy for me, as I wasn't the brightest and fastest learning student in the class. As it turned out, she and I became friends over the many years after as I took over management of the Crossroads Restaurant at 12 Corners in 1970 and we saw each other almost everyday. She will be missed by all who ever met her.

George Criticos BHS '60 Penfield NY

I first met Maggie when she was my science teacher in 8th grade. She was fresh out of college and I think we were her first class at Brighton. The 8th grade girls were all atwitter over the romance of the tall, pretty redhead Miss Barry and the handsome
Mr. Schneider. Maggie loved our class (Brighton 1960) and we loved her, too. She was always invited to and never missed our reunions.

Twenty five years later Maggie became my colleague and my friend. We had some great...

I knew Maggie through a mutual friend as I visited Charbroil on Fridays before I retired from BHS. Consequently we knew of each others community band involvements as time passed. I quickly enjoyed her infectious friendly nature and sunny disposition. My condolences to loved ones as you remember her caring ways.

I took biology from Mrs. Barry (yes, no Ms. in those days) more than 50 years ago. She was a terrific teacher, and spurred my interest in science (although I turned to the social science side eventually). I only remember a handful of my BHS teachers across the many years; she stands out among them. My heartfelt best wishes to her family.

I was so sorry to hear about Maggies passing. We lived two houses from her in Brighton. I remember the day she moved in with her two boys. I just spoke to her a month ago about another neighbor. Although, I did not know her well, my deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

Very well said. She will be dearly missed and forever remain a warmly remembered fixture of Harley History.

I will miss Maggie's wonderful sense of humor. She would give me a swat on the back with the Democrat and Chronicle, just in case Jim had forgotten to do so that morning-just for good measure!
