Not sure what to say?

And this... is the story of how she fell in love with my Grandfather: The summer of 1945, the year before Margaret Lokie (My Grandmother) graduated high school, it was to her surprise when she met Dick Scudder, who arrived as a volunteer at the main camp for the Denver Council of Churches. Here are a couple of stories that Grandma shared with me over the summer. She was a lovely person and I am grateful that one of my last memories with her is that she reminded me that I am her first Granddaughter and that I am feisty. Sometimes the world can be a challenging place but, Grandpa Peg definitely knew how to assure that those around her understood where they stood. You will be missed Aunt Peg.

I am so sorry to hear about Peg's passing! I remember working with Peg many years ago. She taught me many things that helped me in my early teaching years. She was a wonderful example for young educators! Sending many hugs to her family!
