Not sure what to say?

Just the other day I looked at that book she signed for me. Thought of the strength and hope she gave me that day.. I will never forget..

I'd like to pass on my condolences to Peg's daughters and family. It was with sadness I heard of Peg's passing. I have kept in touch with her over the years mainly through letters at Christmas time. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Very sorry to hear of Peg's death. She rented a house to my grandmother at 20 North St for years. Last saw her in April during the Titanic remembrance of her great-aunt Jane Carr. She hosted my wife and I and several others after the memorial mass. Lovely woman in every way.

Dear Nancy, Caroline and I are deeply sadden by the news of your mother's departure to the eternal life. We always enjoyed talking to her when she was walking by our house on Main Street. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.

I first met Peggy 36 years ago when she signed a book I was given. Through those years I have looked at that inscription and thought of her. What she wrote has given me the strength to continue. God bless the Shaughnessy family. My thoughts and prayers are with you...
