SHAW- Margaret R. "Peg" (nee Heeney) passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2011. A long time resident of Little Falls, NJ where she raised her 4 children. She was born in Newark, NJ and attended Our Lady of Good Council High School where she played on the varsity basketball team. Mrs. Shaw retired from Prime Hospitality after 20 years of service. She was active member of the Little Falls Women's Club and the Passaic County Women's Golf League as well as an avid bridge player. She was predeceased by her husband, Findlay Shaw, who passed away in 1988 and her daughter, Kathleen Shaw, in 2010, her parents Rosemary and Christopher Heeney and her 5 siblings. Survivors include: her son Robert Shaw from Colorado, her daughter Mary Margaret Jacobs and her husband Tom of Bel Air, MD, her daughter, Susan Poland of West Allenhurst, NJ. The light of her life were her two grandchildren Matthew Poland and Kathleen Jacobs. Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Thursday from Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls and 11:00 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Angels RC Church, 465 Main St., Little Falls. Private Cremation to follow. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 30 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Little Falls Women's Club, 93 Prospect St., Little Falls, NJ 07424 for the Margaret R. Shaw Scholarship Fund.
