Family hour will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday March 25, 2022, at Smith & Gaston Funeral Home.

Life is so precious. Mrs. Shields was as precious as the life she lived. I have known her my entire life and when ever she saw me, she knew who I was... even after long periods of time had gone by. Her was memory was sharp and she was still on her game. The Most High Coach needed her for a special play. She told Coach to put her in the game. She was ready because she had been practicing for a while. Sonny, Abbie, and Joyce I know your pain. I also know a mother´s love compares to none other....
