Not sure what to say?

Damn! She was one helluva woman. And you were a lucky man to have found her. Stay strong my friend and focus on all the wonderful experiences y'all shared. Peace.

My deepest sympathies, Gary.

Gary,

Nancy and I are saddened to learn about Peggy. I knew her through my friendship with Gail Gibbons and Karen Osterloh and my membership in the Potomac Club. I spoke with both Karen and Gail yesterday. Peggy was wise, kind, vivacious, beautiful and a true Southern Lady. We will all miss her.
Please let us know about plans for a memorial service.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Gary...........I am so sorry to learn of Peggy's passing. Her courage, perennial good spirits and persistence are inspirational. I know how difficult this must be. I look forward to seeing you soon and to joining in the memorial event celebrating her wonderful life. I will especially remember her grace and warmth.

Beautiful Peggy on the happiest day of her life - her wedding day to Gary Smithwick.

Peggy and I were kindergarten classmates; later high school buddies who loved being cheerleaders for our state-championship teams. She had it all - intellect, personality, talent and beauty. Everyone who knew Peggy loved her. We were so happy when she met Gary as they exemplified the perfect couple for us all. She will always remain our "Most Likely to Succeed" beautiful girl. She defined bravery and courage for us all, first with the consequences of the helicopter crash, and then...

I went to school with Peggy at JJHS and ORHS and she was a special person who loved everyone and made them feel special. I will be praying for her husband and know that they are comforted just by the memories of her and her life.

I remember Peggy's brave stuggle every day. She was a graceful and lovely lady. Gary and Peggy's great love story continues to inspire us all.

I dont know Mary Snyder but after reading her obituary it touched my heart. She was a very powerful woman. I want to thank her for the work she did for the Civil Rights for all races. I am an African American female and I sincerely want to express my respect and condolences to Margaret Ruth Snyder and her family. I also graduated from Oak Ridge High School. I know she will be missed by her family but not forgotten by the lives that she touched! She just touched my life. God Bless The Snyder...
