Margaret Stimpfle Obituary

Stimpfle Margaret F. Stimpfle (Herb), age 98, of Gahanna, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. She was born to the late Phillip and Anna Herb on December 8, 1914. Margaret was a graduate of New California High School class of 1933. She retired after 20 years of service as a cook for Columbus Public Schools. She was also a long time member of St. John's Evangelical Protestant United Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Irvin, daughter Gretchen Hill, infant son Gary Stimpfle, siblings John, Carl, Jim, and Don Herb. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Markus; son, Fred (Bernice) Stimpfle; grandchildren, Christa Markus, Garland Kinkaid, Sean Hill, Sarah Dubois, Bryan and Brent Stimpfle; ten great-grandchild-ren; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown RD. (at Beecher RD.), Gahanna. Funeral Service will begin at 4 p.m. Rev. Virginia Lohmann Bauman officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Evangelical Protestant United Church of Christ/Family Fund.
