I’m so sad and sorry to hear this news. May God bring peace and strength to each of you today.

Growing up at Nashua Baptist was a wonderful experience! I first learned the beauty of church family there. We were blessed with a fun group of youth and we spent time in each others homes. Mrs. Surtees was one of many “mom’s” to me. She loved, cared, and encouraged well! I’m thankful for her and for her family. Remembering you all in the days ahead.

It was such a pleasure being Margaret’s friend ❣We shared lovely moments at Nashua Baptist Church, enjoying laughter and God’s Blessings and Love To Bob and your Sons and their families, I send my Heartfelt Condolences. As Christians, I feel that our physical death is our Ultimate Healing I kind of envy those in Heaven that are now experiencing Margaret’s Precious Presence Rest in Perfect Peace, my friend

She was like a second mom to my sisters and I growing up on Ministerial Drive. Sending so much love to Mr. Surtees, the boys and all the family!!

It doesn’t seem real. The Surtees are part of the extended family that stood in for my family across the ocean. I never felt like I went without. As my godmother, Margaret was like an aunt to me and grandmother to my son. My heart is so heavy. We take comfort in knowing she and my mom can now share a cup of tea together in heaven.

Oh Mags, you left us too soon...picturing you making your unmatchable Pavlova for the heavenly hosts. Love you forever!

Keep the wonderful memories of Margaret and Mom close to your heart for comfort. Much love, The Pfeifers
