Not sure what to say?

Your Mom and Dad were lovely people. Your Mom was a second cousin to my Mom, Eleanor (Fiero) Crego and my Shorthand teacher at St. John's.

I use to babysit with you boys when I was in high school and have proudly watched you grow up.

My sincere sympathy to your whole family at the loss of a lovely lady. Our prayers are with you.

Mike & Janet (Crego) Dunigan

To the Swartout family:
Each week at LC your Mom gave us a vocabulary test. One of my favorite words I learned was Gingerly. Every time I here it I think of your Mom. So here's to you Mrs Swartout!!! I know you walked into Heaven very gingerly*

Your Mom and Dad were wonderful people*

Take Care

Denny & Carol, Sincerely sorry to learn of your loss. What a wonderful Mother you were blessed with. John & Cindy

my sympathies and thoughts and prayers with the whole Swartout family. we were neighbors , many years ago, also Mrs Swartout was my english teacher at St. Johns. she was a wonderful person and a great teacher.we will always remember all the Swartout family. (Class of 71)

Mrs. Swartout was my favorite high school teacher. Class of 1966. She taught more than typing and shorthand, she taught us about going out into the world and being professional !!! Dave, Mary Jo, Danny...fond memories. With sincere sympathy to you and yours.

To the Swartout family you are in my thoughts and prayers. I enjoyed talking with her during my days at Lumen - class of 76. She never forgot any of us - my sister cared for her and told me on several occasions that Mrs. Swartout asked how I was doing. Amazing after all the years. Thanks for being such a kind and caring person.

Margaret Mary and Bernie were wondeful friends and neighbors to our mother, Eileen Vogelsang. She and we appreciated all her prayers for our mother when she was ill. I am sure they are in Heaven right now catching up.

So sorry for your loss. Remember Mrs Swartout well from "notehand" at St Johns (still use some of those squiggles), and from the neighborhood...
Mary Lynn (Cagney) McKee

Mrs. Swartout taught more than just typing or shorthand...she was a fine example of Faith and Love for everyone. God Bless her. May she rest in pease.
