TACKABURY, Margaret A. - Of Fenton, age 88, died Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Wellbridge of Fenton.

Funeral service will be held 11am Monday, August 19, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, 

Pastor David Groendyk officiating.

Entombment in Tyrone Memory Gardens.

Contributions may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation.

Visitation 12-5pm Sunday and 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Margaret was born in Flint, Michigan on June 3, 1936, the daughter of the late Ernest and Margaret (Jones) Silcock. On September 1, 1956 she married Dean A. Tackabury and he preceded her in death on April 8, 2015. She was a member of Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church. She liked cooking, sewing, making clothes, arts and crafts and painting portraits.

Surviving are son, Mike Tackabury;

Grandsons, Ryan (Liz) and David (Sabrina) Plamondon;

Great-grandsons, Keigan and Dean;

Great-granddaughter, Eleanor;

And many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Shelly Tackabury and best friend, Martha Swan.
