Not sure what to say?

I am traveling to England and Ireland this week and I'll be thinking of her.

My mother, Virgilia Heimsath Pancoast Klein, living in NYC, was so sad to hear of Peggy's passing. My mother would often share lively stories about the Medina River Reading Club that Peggy and her husband participated in. Virgilia has often said how smart and kind Peggy always was.

The reading club was started up by my grandfather, Charles Herman Heimsath, and Peggy and many other summertime residents of Bandera. Charles was the founding minister at St. Christopher's Episcopal Church,...

I light this candle from across the miles for my dear and sweet grandmother. I am thankful that I was able to attend the wake. The lighting of the candle symbolizes the love we had for each other. Also, the light is her guiding me through life. I was blessed to have her for forty seven years.

Our sincere condolences to all of the Tobin family. I remember Mrs Tobin from my high school days; she was always a positive, warm presence, very interested in preserving Hill Country history.

I was so sad to hear of Peggy's passing. I remember her so well from the time my siblings and I were young as she was a great friend of my parents, Wanda and O'Neil Ford. I will always remember what a beautiful, calm and giving person she was. My condolences to ALL of her and Don's family...you are in my prayers. With love, Wandita Ford Turner

Miss Peggy always welcomed us and our children to her ranch when we arrived ad took a sincere and deep interest in each child whenever she saw them.
Bandera has lost a unique and loving soul who can never be replaced.

Mark and Family,
My deepest sympathy.
