Dear Linda, I am so sorry for the death of your mother. I just lost my father October 2nd to Alzheimer's and he was in a Nursing Home, also. I understand the pain you have endured watching your beloved mother suffer. Please accept my sincere condolences.

When I was a child, my parents would force me to write thank you notes for every gift I ever received, regardless of the occasion or present. As it was a hassle when I was seven, struggling with sentence formation and spelling--I'm truly glad my parents instilled that habit in me.

This is my final thank you note to the only grandparent I remember knowing. Grandma Margaret, you helped shape into the person I have become and I looked up to you more than you know. Your impact on my life...
