My heart is so sad to have lost a wonderful friend. Mernie and I were friends for the past 25 years as I had the privilege of fixing her hair every week. We watched each others kids/grandkids grow up! I watched Mernie care for her wonderful husband, George, as they battled Alzheimers. What a beautiful example of love she showed.
