Died October 17, 2009 from Alzheimer's disease. She was 89. Margaret was one of the few woman attorneys of her day. She was a civic leader in the South Bay in the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was one of the owners of Santa Rosa Island before it became part of the Channel Islands National Park....
Read MoreI knew Mrs. Woolley as a wonderful mom to all of her kid's friends. Whenever I visited, she always insisted on asking me to stay for dinner, even if no one else was home! She will be missed by many.

I will always be grateful that Boris and Maggie took the chance on a young attorney fresh out of law school and taught him how to be a lawyer. They were both an inspiration and friend. I was honored that, even after she retired from her law practice, she would call me for advice. My sincere condolences to her family. She will very much be missed.
