I spent a wonderful evening with part of her family attending a show put on by Dame Edna. I remember Margaret having a wonderful sense of humor and a smile that went on forever. I know she loved her family, especially her daughter and the granddaughters I know, Lauren and Nora. They were very lucky to have her for so long, and even with her passing, they should remember how special they all are because of her.

As a Marine buddy of Toms I had the opportunity to meet Margaret only once and it left a lasting impression. How proud she was of her family. She was a happy woman. I know she was particularly proud of Tom and Jim and the men they had become.

I have find memories of the years Margaret and I spent with Neighborhood Watch. Margaret loved Oak Park and her neighborhood.
