Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Loosing a parent is never easy. It is loosing a part of oneself and that is hard to bare. I am certain that your memories over the next few days and months will bring a smile to your face and your heart.
I wish I had met her. She seemed like such a pistol. Now I know where Mary-Ann got that personality!
When you see the stars twinkling in the sky each night you will see one brighter than all the rest. That is her smiling...

I never knew how hard it was to be a mom. Having gone thru life without any children, I didn't understand how hard the job was. Now that I have 2 step-children, I realize how hard my mom worked for all of us. She gave up so much for all of us kids and things were not always easy .. her being a single parent for so long...us kids being kids and teenagers and all that goes along with that.
I have so much respect for my mom and I hope that she knew that. I will miss her sense of...
