Margarita Barrientos, passed away February 04, 2017 peacefully, with her family by her side. She was born on June 9, 1928 in the Republic of Guatemala. She is preceded in death by her parents; Petrona Barrientos and Jose Domingo Barrientos, and her siblings; Ester Barrientos, Jose Antonio Barrientos, Rufino Barrientos. She is survived by her sister; Elvira Barrientos Vazquez, her children; Alvaro G. Aleman, Elvia J. Saenz and Nivia N. Gore, and grandchildren; Alvaro Aleman Jr., Becker Aleman, Mara S. Aleman, Juan Carlos Seanz, Christopher Gore and Alexander Gore. A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at LEITZ-EAGAN Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana at 10:00 am – 1:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm, Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick #1 Cemetery 5000 Canal St., New Orleans, Louisiana at the Calvary Mausoleum. Messages of condolences may be left to the family at www.leitzeaganfuneralhome.com.
