Margary (Marge) Bernice Bond Roberts, age 88, passed away peacefully in her home in Van Alstyne, Texas on Friday, June 16, 2023.


Marge was born on April 29, 1935 to Joseph Bond and Sylvia Bloomfield Bond in Ramah, New Mexico. She graduated from Ramah High School in 1954. She was married to Clairidge (Tiny) Orville Roberts in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and had 3 sons, and 3 daughters.


Marge loved to crochet and knit, and she loved all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren unconditionally.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Sylvia Bond, sisters Alice Nicoll and Geraldine Tietjen, daughter Terry Miller, and granddaughter Laura Ansley.


Marge is survived by her husband Clairidge (Tiny) Roberts, her siblings Glenna Crosby, Ann Nelson (Bruce), Barbara Grenko (Rudy), Dean Bond (Billie), Caroline Wolfe (Jack), her children Gail Ansley (Calvin), Joseph Roberts (Kellie), Lane Roberts (Connie), Shayne Roberts (Michelle), Taunya Roberts-Tumlinson (Jeremie), and her grandchildren Jay Ansley, Jordan Ansley, Jesse Nelson (Jared), Devon Roberts, Dallin Roberts (Mandi), Brittney Brady (Theo), Kacey Roberts, Kate Roberts, Sierra Boose (Dillon), Shanelle Craft (Ty), Miah Ansley, as well as 16 great-grandchildren.


A viewing will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Broomhead Funeral Home and Funeral services will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the same location. Interment will be at Riverton City Cemetery 1500 West 13200 South, Riverton UT.
