Marjorie Lorraine Dillon "Marge" Siggins, 82, died Saturday, January 21, 2012 in her Lisbon home, with her family by her side. Marge's funeral will be Wednesday, January 25, 2012 11:00 a.m., at the First Federated Church, Lisbon. Marge's viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Morgan Funeral Choices, Mount Vernon. Marge will be buried in the Mount Vernon Cemetery. Surviving Marge are her husband Kenneth "Ken;" 3-daugthers: Chris Siggins, Marion, Denise (Bruce) Reckling, Mount Vernon, and Lori (David) McMahon, DeWitt; and son Dave (Deb) Siggins, Lisbon; 9 grandchildren: Porter Zikmund, Erica Albright, Lindsay Reckling, Brandon, Jake, Keegan, Amanda Siggins, Lindsey and Brittney McMahon; 2-great grandchildren: Jack Zikmund and Quinton Brown, and a special four-legged friend Mike, the yellow lab. Preceding Marge in death were her parents, two children, Kathy and Steve Siggins, five sisters: Doris, Mildred, Dorothy, Betty, and Inez. Marge was born July 8, 1929, in Millersburg, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dillon. The family moved to Lisbon from Millersburg and she graduated from Lisbon High School in 1949. Marge married Ken Siggins, June 26, 1949, in Lisbon. She worked at Wilson's Grocery Store, Lisbon, and was a day care provider at her home for many years. For 5-years, Marge and Ken enjoyed driving cars for Lynch Ford, Mount Vernon. She loved the Lord, and was a faithful member of the Lisbon Federated Church. Her mission in life was to be a vessel of the Lord in His desire to see people saved. Marge loved to play card games and was a master of the card game 3-13. In lieu of flowers and green planes, memorials in Marge's name may be donated to the First Federated Church, 115 N Walnut, Lisbon, Iowa, 52254, St. Luke's Hospice, P.O Box 3026, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, 52402, or The Gideon's International, P.O. Ken& family: We are deeply saddened to hear of Marge's passing. We so enjoyed having you for neighbors for many years and all the good and sad times we shared.
