Margery was a special person at The Ledger, and a special person in my life. She could light up the room with her presence, and she never failed when we came around asking: "Margery, could you write a poem about (fill in the blank)?" Whether a new year or the Spirit of Volunteerism, she always turned in a masterpiece that touched my heart. I'm lucky to now know her daughter, who is every bit as special as she is.
