Not sure what to say?

Hi Marni,

It takes a while to get the word out to California, but I was saddened to hear about Walker's death. I kept thinking that I would see one or both of you when I visited Mother at Laurel Crest, but the timing never worked out.

My thoughts and prayers are with you belatedly.

Jack,
I see Walker's beautiful face and feel her joy. Thank you for sharing her with all of us. With loving sympathy, Raydean and Walt

Dear Jack,
You & your Family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am a close friend of Walker's sisters, Anne and Jean. I have always heard so much about both of you. I pray that you will feel God's comfort, peace, and tight embrace during this difficult time.

Dear Jack,

My thoughts and prayers are with you on your loss of your dear wife and partner in life. My sincerest condolences.

Dear Jack,
My sincere sympathies for your loss. I did not know Walker very well, but remember her glorious smile and warmth every time I saw her on campus. What an amazing poem she wrote. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Dear Jack:

My sincere sympathy on the loss of Walker. She was such a special "Lady of the Pool" I feel privileged to have know her and her wonderful wit and southern charm. What a gift! Thanks to you for all the care and love you gave her.

Dear Jack:

My deepest condolences. Though I met her only a few times, I know Walker was truly one-of-a-kind. I can hear her voice now as I write, her utterly self-assured (no fear) yet honeyed way of putting things.

You are in my thoughts.

Dear Jack,
My sincere sympathy and prayers go out to all of you. Walker was a delight. I feel privileged to have known her.
