Dear Joe et al,
I was so said to hear of Rita's illness and death. I was hoping to be able to see her on my rare trip to Hbg. in July but appreciated talking to Cissie. Pete and Rita offered an alternative family to mine during high school, college and beyond. The whole crew was so different from my smaller quieter family. Dear Wambach Family,
My sincere sympathy on the passing of your dear mother, Rita. She was a lovely lady in every way. I remember being with my parents in Rome in 1977 for the canonization of St. John Neumann. Rita and Pete were among the joyous pilgrims on a wonderfully spiritual journey we shared in the Eternal City. Now they will watch over all of us from their eternal Heavenly home.

To the Wambach families; I was so sorry to see that your mom has passed away. Although I had only met her a few times I knew her children and grandchildren through the coffee shoppe that I worked at.
