No ordinary nanny..
Margie Hemphill-Davis-Ishmael was my grandmother. She was the light of my life. We were like two peas in a pod with our equally fun personalities. She was no ordinary grandmother. She knew how to cut loose and was not prude by any means. She sometimes took me by surprise by what came out of her mouth and some of the things she did. She may even have been the first one you'd catch with her mind in the gutter or telling a joke that made everyone laugh themselves to tears.
