Our mom passed peacefully in the early morning hours of October 4, 2025. While there is no tragedy in the death of an 85 year old woman who lived a healthy and wonderful life, we know grief is unavoidable, it comes in waves, it waits around unexpected corners. Grief, like love, is ever present....

DR.COLLEEN APP my sympathy to you and your husband in the passing of his mother. What a lovely obituary written in her honor. Knowing you I am not surprised because your kindness has followed her example I am sure. May God grant you his peace and comfort in the days ahead. From one of your grateful patients, Donna Heuker

To the App Children—
I am very sorry to hear about the death of your mother.

I rfirst became aware of her years ago, when there was a bake sale at St. Alphonsus Church and I showed up with my humble contribution—a plate of cookies, or a loaf of zucchini bread, I’ve forgotten what—and here came this woman with not one or two, but a couple dozen little loaves of home-baked bread!

Margo always thought big. She was great fun to be around. You could always count on her...

Dear Dr App..we were so sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. She was quite the force when she and your Dad ran the practice on Plainfield. You are a wonderful son. Our prayers are with you and your family. Char and David Snoap

Michael....I am remembering you and your family in my prayers. We are never ready to lose our parents. You have such wonderful memories and can be comforted that she is in her Forever Home. You were such a wonderful doctor to my husband, Dave, who passed in July. He was very fond of you.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I appreciated Margo's good counsel while I served as principal at St. Alphonsus School. Dr. Peter App provided sports physicals to our athletes annually for just $5.00. If they couldn't afford that no problem. Both served and gave unselfishly. Godspeed to a great couple. My condolences to the kids who were all full of spirit and brighter than an educator could imagine.

May you be blessed with many, wonderful memories. Where there was deep love, now there is deep grief.

My deepest sympathies to the family.
