Margo was a fun friend always finding new and interesting things. Spending the night at her house was always exciting. They even had a monkey for a while. I fell out her bedroom window on the second floor into a hedge clowning around. If you were very fortunate she was your friend. She married such a nice guy WEYC Ronnie Pugh... so many happy high school memories included Margo ...

Margo and I certainly came of age together, and our parents were friends. It seems only yesterday I was in Florida with her and her parents. I still have a few of the polaroids we took. We looked so cool... with our sunglasses, hair in big rollers with white matching scarves. Time passed too fast. When I found out, I was shocked, because when I think of Margo, I just see us as: two silly 14 year old teenagers trying to figure out how to look older.

Dear Jimmy (Smiley) and Michelle, and all family members and friends. I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Pugh's passing. Please know heaven has gained one level-headed, headstrong angel to take care of loose ends up there. Keep your head up, and hold all those dear memories close in your time of adjustment. I had some really good times at WEC, and building the Homecoming floats at the Pugh household every year will be memories i shall not soon forget. God Speed to all concerned

Margo: I know that you are now free from the pain and resting well! Words cannot describe what you meant to me throughout my entire adult life. My children, granddaughters and I have shared so many fond memories with you and your family over the last 39 years. I love you very much and you will ALWAYS be in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time of sorrow.
I regret being too far away to attend service to give each of you a personal hug.
