Margot touches the lives of so many. Each year our students read America's White Table. I wanted to send a thank you for such great books. Even though she is not here with us her stories and creativity continue to reach many and touch our hearts. Thank you Margot

My dear friend you are always with me. I cherish this gift and keep it at hand for our friendship is never ending, I miss your beautiful voice. Hugs dear one!

I'm doing an author presentation for my class CI431 at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Upon research, I found out that she had the same kind of cancer my mom had. On behalf of my cohorts and I, a donation to TNBCfoundation has been made. Our deepest condolences go to the family and others she left behind.

I just read "Rags: Hero Dog of WWI" and was moved to tears. I wanted to write a note to the author but found out that sadly, she has passed. Instead, I'll share with whomever reads this that her stories are still making a difference in this world
