Peacefully at Kensington Village London, on Sunday, May 1, 2016 Margretha A. Gratton in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late "Ronald" Maxima Aldedge Gratton (1990). Dear mother of Chuck (Gwenda) Gratton of St. Thomas, John (Kathy) Gratton of St. Williams, Paul (Vera) Gratton of Woodstock, Grace (Nelson) Lambier and Doris (Albert) Kindred of London. Loving grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of many wonderful children. Margretha was a war bride who came to Canada in 1946 aboard the S.S. Aquitania. She spent her life caring for her husband and his extended family. Visitors will be received in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street, London on Thursday, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica ,196 Dufferin Ave. on Friday at 10:00 a.m., followed by private interment in St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. The family extends their sincere appreciation to the care givers at Kensington Village. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
