Not sure what to say?

Micki, you will be missed by both of us. May you RIP, had heard you had been sick but just learned of you passing. From some old frieds who used to live on Key Biscayne, pick you up for church, and knew you good friend Brian.

Micki was a wonderful lady, I remember one day I had to work until 7pm at the Lemon City Library, and I needed assistance. Micki came over and worked with me all day, and we closed the library together. She could have sent someone else, but instead, she came over to work with me, and during that time, I got the chance to get to know her a little better. She will be missed, may her spirit rest in peace.

To Brad and brothers and family:
I just came from the store and found out from Micki's friend Evelyn that she passed. I was so shock and saddened to hear the news. I was going to go visit her. I didn't hear until today. I am so sorry. She was a wonderful friend and so full of life.
I feel blessed to have known her and also my boys Sito, Mark and Christian. We all always loved to go to her house and hear her marvelous stories and life stories. I will miss her terribly. We went to...

To the Carden family, I will always remember Micki. She was one of the people who encouraged me when I first came to the Miami Dade Public Library System in 1981. It was she who encouraged me to become a Branch Manager and I will always be grateful to her. She mentored me until she retired. After her retirement I would sometimes see her at various functions in Coconut Grove and she always had a smile and a kind word. She will be greatly missed by many. Sherrill Martin

Ms. Carden was the reason I was able to attend Library School.

I remember when I was desperately searching for ways to find money which would enable me to attend classes at Florida State University.

At moment in time before internet and the abundant availability of online classes.

I did not know Ms. Carden personally but knew she was the Assist. Director. After exhausting all other avenues, I remember nervously going into to her office and asking for any...

To Micki family,

Yor mother was truly a defined professional for the MDPLS. I worked with her at the new Main library when we first opened the bldg.
She alway's welcome one to come and talk to her and provided one with hope and confidence. She will truely be missed. May God blessed her and the family during this difficult time.

To Micki's Family,

I was also shocked and sad to see your mother/grandmother's obituary in the Herald. I worked with her at the Main Library (in Bayfront Park) back in the 70's. She was a fine woman who really cared about your family and our community. I'm sorry for your loss.

To Micki's Family,

I was shocked and sad to read of your loss. Micki and I worked together at the old Main Library in downtown Miami many years ago. She was a fighter for Miami's right to read. She loved you boys and kept us up on your doings. She will be missed by all those who knew her. May she rest in peace.

Micki Carden's Family,
I am not sure how this all fits together. Micki and I went to Miami Hi toether and I grew up in the same neighborhood with an N.J. Carden who had an older brother named Jimmy. I am an unknown friend to you and wanted you to know that I am sorry to hear of your temporary loss. It is a sad time but you will be together again. ---- Pete Williams
