Marguerite V. Griffiths

Marguerite (Margie) V. Griffiths, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2021 at home in Glen Mills, PA.

She graduated from Media High School and spent most of her life in Delaware County and in Manasquan, NJ.  She worked for the Kitty Dugan dress shop and spent the majority of her time as a homemaker.  She was an active member of Middletown Presbyterian Church and served many years as a Deacon and on various committees.  

She loved the shore, music, flowers and especially cooking whenever she was at home.  She enjoyed spending time and having dinner with her family and many friends.  She devoted her life to loving and caring for her family.  She was a kind, gentle and beautiful person who did many generous and unnoticed charitable deeds.  As a young wife and mother she spent all of her summers in Manasquan and as her children and grandchildren got older they continued to gather on weekends in Manasquan.  In the final years of her life, she spent the majority of her time at her beachfront home in Manasquan.  

Predeceased: Her husband, Thomas S. Griffiths, Jr.; her son, Thomas S. Griffiths, III; her daughter, Susan Tuzio; her brother-in-law, Ted Griffiths.  

Survivors: Her son, Paul Griffiths and grandson, Jack Griffiths of Wawa, PA; her son-in-law, Tom Tuzio and granddaughter Ana Tuzio of Bayville, NJ; her brother, Charles (Lorraine) Vernon of Media, PA; her sister-in-law, Nancy Griffiths of Manasquan, NJ. She is also survived by many cousins and her close friend and caretaker, John K. Gosselin. 

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 19th at 11 AM at Middletown Presbyterian Church, 273 S. Old Middletown Road, Media, PA.

Visitation will be at 10:15 AM before the memorial service at the church.
