Not sure what to say?

She was my 2nd grade teacher. During that year I was burnt with either having my tonsils out.I missed a lot of school. Ms Loose sent color books, paper dolls, reading books etc to my home to entertain me. I never forgot her kindness. She also had the other students make get well cards. A wonderful teacher.

I am from Mrs. Looses days on Howard St. in Mt. Morris. I was born in 1981 and lived there till 1993. I grew up loving to go across the street and visit with her. To see all her treasures and hear her stories. My favorite times were when Laura and Jason would come to stay. She always let us go on for hours and invited me right in with them on their time together. Those are some of my fondest memories of summer. I never knew where she'd gone and my children asked me on a long car ride what I...

I have so many fond memories of Aunt Margaret. Grandma Graf and her were very close friends with my Grandma Williams and when she passed away the two of them stepped into her place for me and become my family. She taught me how to play the piano when I was little. I also remember having many Thanksgiving Dinners with the families all together. I remember going to the house and reading many of the books that she had kept from her teaching days. I still have many of them along with the comic...

My Deepest sympathy to all of the family in this time of loss. I was not only a student of Mrs. Loose but also her neighbor ( Jim Corbin ). In elementary I had a severe stuttering problem, and was suggested that I go into the special education, Mrs. Loose would not hear of it. She mentored me personally along with Mrs. Graf. They changed the course of my entire life. I think of Mrs. Loose often, she is part of my personal testimony to the Goodness of God. She will be deeply missed but...

I first extend my sympathy to Mrs. Loose's family.
I'm sure MANY of her former students have remembered her. I myself remember very few of my teachers, especially from elementary school (years and years ago) but I remember her, a wonderful teacher and special lady. Thinking of her makes me smile. I am happy to know she is Home.

forgot to sign my name Marilyn Turner Kendall....one of the best teachers ever

She was my second grade teacher and a long time friend. I always remember the piano and the special days when Mrs. Graf would come in to play. One of the best teachers and a big influence in my life.

Mrs. Loose was a teacher who was dedicated to her students & had a sense of humor. I remember her telling me that our son (who was having trouble reading) would have no trouble when he was old enough for Playboy! Many students & families were touched by her life.

Mrs. Loose was my first grade teacher in 1952. She was always my favorite. I had my tonsils out that year and I was burned by the ether. Down my throat and down both sides of my face. I missed alot of school so Mrs.Loose sent me coloring books ,crayons, books to read and paper cut out dolls( remember those ?). It was like Xmas to a poor little girl. I still have the class picture of all the girls with Mrs. Loose standing next to me. She had long hair always piled up on top of her head with...
