Not sure what to say?

We will always remember Peg's laughter, her love for her family, and her absolute commitment to the children of Vermont. Please know that our thoughts are with you.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Peg's passing. I feel Peg's influence on me both as a teacher and administrator every day. Her wisdom and belief in the power of education, the capacity of teachers, and in the joyfulness of children forever shaped me. I will miss her.

John, Mary Kate, Christian, Jess and family,
The thoughts of our family are with your family at this most difficult time.

We were so sorry to hear of Peg's passing. It was a pleasure to know her while we were neighbors in the Maple Corner area. I know she will be greatly missed by not only her family, but also by all who knew her.

John and family, sending thoughts and prayers at this time. My deepest sympathies to you and your family.

Peg perfected the art of living and the skill of leading: the greater good always came first. She had a beautiful hand for touching and changing others. I love the way she wrote. Her words shimmered with effortless clarity and insight. She knew how to enter a classroom and set in motion exactly all that ideally should happened. My students and I were awed by her. It is our immense loss that she died so soon. Perhaps she had really taught us everything already. If so, then let us honor this...

I am deeply shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of a woman I came to admire and respect a great deal. She was a successful woman and also a spiritual one. That is the side of her that I got to know best. She much integrity, love and respect for herself and other. Blessings to you in your time of grief, John, Mary Kate and Christian.
