Greg, few people make a lasting favorable impression in our lives and you and Marge are two people who have had such an impact on the Meadow family. Even though we haven't had much contact over the years since those wonderful softball memories, we still hold you in our hearts and we are praying for you.

Greg: Thank you for sharing the death notice in the Birmingham paper. Tommy and I thought of you all day yesterday and will remember you today and tomorrow as you receive friends. I want you to know what a loving tribute I thought that was, not just to Marge but to your marriage and most of all to her faith. When my time comes, I want the last memory others have of me to be a witness to the hope that is in Christ our Lord and Savior. I am so glad that you shared her faith with all of us....

Marge often sat near me at the 6 pm Mass at Transfiguration. She shared her condition with me once and from then on I marvelled at how she was always so self-possessed and well put together even in the face of death. She was such and example to many who only knew her slightly but drew courage and inspiration from her.

Greg: Words are so impotent at a time like this, but know that Sue and I are holding you and your family in our thoughts and prayers and Marge in our hearts. We will be with you in spirit at the service as we are leaving for St. Louis Easter Sunday with our three granddaughters to spend spring break with Sue's sisters and their families. Marge was so uplifting and joyful and we will miss her. Marge is one with our creator, and she is whole and at peace.
