Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to see Jeanne’s Obit while looking he up after wondering where she ended up after the UCSF residency. You see, I knew her from UC Riverside, and passed her research lab where she sat facing the open door at her desk always with a big smile and a greeting no matter how busy she was. I was also doing research as an undergrad, and we talked about going to medical school.
Our paths crossed again on numerous occasions during her surgical residency and my orthopedic residency at...

Please accept my late note to express my condolences. I was catching up with my UC Riverside alumni bulletins and was shocked to see the obituary announcement. I don't have the words to adequately express my feelings but I am deeply saddened by Jeanne's passing.

We met in our first college chemistry class together as freshman. She had the unfortunate luck to be assigned to the lab bench next to the sink where she got constantly sprayed by others who were using the faucet/sink -...

Im an anesthesiologist and worked with Jeanne at both UCSF and Lovelace. It is a heart hitting shock to hear she passed. So sad. God bless. Dharma Singh Khalsa M D Tucson Az.

I have know Dr. Thomas for almost 20 years, I am a secretary in the operating room at Lovelace. I have always admired her skill as a surgeon but was so amazed by her generosity as a person. I will miss her. My condolences to her son, which she talked to me about many times. She was a very proud mother. Huge loss to our medical field and community.

Jeanne was an amazing mentor for so many, and she taught me so much more that how to do surgery, she tought me how to be a compassionate healer, and a better doctor. I will always remember her smile and the way she lit up when she talked about Liam.

I am very sorry to hear of Jeanne passing. I appreciate the experience and honor of working with her during her journey with this disease. My condolences to Liam and to those who love her.

So sorry to hear of Jeanne's passing. She was such a great hiker in our women's group. She will be missed. Sincere sympathy goes to you, Liam.

We are so very sad. She was a valuable colleague and friend to Jeremy and I believe she saved my life 10 years ago - she was a kind and caring doctor through the entire experience. She also mentored Katie our daughter when she was thinking of going to Med school. Our thoughts are with all of you - particularly Liam who will always be a close friend to all of our family.
