Sorry to hear about Mari Jo. I loved being around her during my years in Stone Mountain Woman's Club. She was unique. I'll always remember fondly.

She was a dear, dear friend. I worked with her at Stone Mountain and we volunteered together many years at Callanwolde. Even stayed in touch after she retired and I visited her often and had good times with her, Kathryn Wright and Toni Smith. Mari Jo was the first to want to party with friends, and she kept us going. I'm sorry I won't be able to attend the service for her tomorrow, but she will always be in my heart and fantastic memories. Love to all of the family, Lynda Ramage

I just got the news from my brother, Jim, and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I was just thinking about Mari Jo the other day. She was an inspiration, a mentor and a friend to me. I was incredibly fortunate to work for Mari Jo at Stone Mountain, and I learned so much about the hospitality industry from her. I worked for Mari Jo for 13 years at Stone Mountain Park. She was a very special person to me. She loved the park and the village and contributed much of her time and energy making both places successful. I loved and respected her very much. My condolences to her family.
