Not sure what to say?

I met Mari working at the Chicago Theater. She worked in the box office and I sold Fannie Mae Candy in the lobby. She came over to buy some and we started talking and found out we were both James Dean fans. She mentioned another box office worker was also a Dean fan. my most fun memory of Mari is when she came with Margo and Jennfier the housemanagers at the Chicago Theater to usher for me at the Apollo Theater and we went out to a bar after the show with some friends of mine from the Apollo...

Mari was a lot of fun. I met her at the Chicago Theater. She was working in the box office there. I used to volunteer usher but fell into a job selling Fannie Mae Candy in the lobby and that is how I met Mari. We were both James Dean fans and she introduced me to another James Dean fan who worked in the box office there too Dave Plomin. The best memory I have of Mari is when she came to the Apollo Theater where I housemanaged to volunteer usher with Margo and Jennifer who were housemanagers...

I have not forgotten Mari She was an amazing incredible person.

Mari and I started at Intuit at the same time in early 1990. We quickly became friends. There aren't enought words to describe just how amazing, vibrant and beautiful Mari was. I am truly thankful that she was a part of my life. I love her. I miss her. She will alway be in my heart.

Mari was a dear friend during our 1993-1997 years together at Intuit.
While I find the news of her death tragic and confusing, I have many memories of her, nearly all of which bring a smile.

George and I met Mivener(Miv) while working at Intuit, then we continued to remain friends even after we moved out of Silicon Valley. Miv always made us smile - it's hard to put anything into words...but you can check out our website at www.austinhill.com for pictures of Mari that we took over the years. We'll miss you, we loved you,
MJ & George :)

I was introduced to Mari by Dave Kalin at an Apple Beer Bash in the late 80's while working there. I later had the pleasure of working with her at Intuit when she helped me get a position there.

Mari always had an opinion and you were sure to know about it. And if by chance your opinion differed from hers you were sure to have a dialog - if you so desired. She was a fun girl to be around, always had a smile and made sure you were having fun too. I'd have never participated in...

I'll always think of Mari whenever I think of Tom Jones (she followed him around like a groupie), the San Jose Sharks (a founding season-ticket holder and written up for her bra-tossing Hat Tricks), the Supreme Court (she didn't care about the President or Congress, only the court decisions) and baseball (a perennial Cubs/Sox and Giants/A's fan, and even the Dodgers too, and had been to more ballparks than anyone I had ever known).

I guess I was Mari's first friend when she moved...
