Not sure what to say?

RIP Marianne I will always be thankful for your friendship. Now you are an Angel.

I did not have the opportunity to cross paths with you, but you will be remembered. Sending prayers to your family and friends. FSM II Sgt .K.Lindsey Gist Unit.

U were taken to soon cuz. Know that you'll be forever in my heart. I'll be praying for your family. Luv u. I know you'll be our Angel watching over us. You'll be missed very deeply.

I knew Mari from inservice. She was a very beautiful person with a very beautiful personality. She will be missed & fondly remembered. It is still hard to believe that this has happened to you. May you rest in peace & may GOD bless your family.

As a former Correctional Officer, I am heartbroken for the loss of a sister in blue. Being a CO is often a thankless job and the risks are very real and very great. Officer Johnson will be truly missed by her fellow officers and is a great loss to the TDCJ. I offer my condolences to her famliy, coworkers, and friends. Former CO II Farris.

To our sister in Gray, I never knew you but I knew your struggle. As an officer and supervisor in TDCJ for over 17 years, I know you put your life on the line every day you heard the gate close behind you. Our hearts and prayers go out to your family who must press on without you as they try to make sense of the cowardly act that took you from them. Mari Anne, you are with our Father in Heaven now and you know no more pain. As for your loved ones, they will be with you again someday. Rest...

Rest In Peace Mari Anne Johnson. You job here is done. Prayers to everyone

So sorry for the loss of this life to your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am also a TDCJ employee in Tennessee Colony and feel as if a coworker has been tragically taken from us all. There are really no encouraging words that will console at a time such as this, but please know I support your grief and sadness with hope and faith that in time, you will see relief and smile again.

We never met, Mari Johnson. You exemplify the core values of TDCJ: Integrity, Courage, Commitment, Perseverance. Not everyone can do the kind of job you had. Thank you for your service and dedication.
