Maria Dolores Barbiere, 86, of Boynton Beach, and formerly of Sea Cliff, New York passed away on February 13, 2026. Maria was predeceased by her husband John Barbiere in 2012. She is survived by her son, Eric Johnson of Boynton Beach, her daughter-in-law, Rosamond, her granddaughter Chloe, her grandson, Cody, Cody’s wife Kate and her great-granddaughter, Iris.

Maria loved life and lived it to the fullest. She had many close friends and twice a week, she could be found ballroom dancing. Maria was an excellent cook and a wonderful hostess; she threw many memorable parties for her friends and family. When she wasn’t dancing, Maria could be found walking at Green Cay Nature Center and Wetlands to see “her alligators.” Maria Dolores Barbiere will be missed.

Dolores will live on in my heart forever through so many treasured memories. Life without her on this earth will be hard for me, after having her as such a good friend for more than 50 years. We were always there for each other and shared good times and difficult times: tears and laughter. Egle and I were her sisters and what a great sister we had! She was my neighbor and was always nice and welcoming to me. I loved her Christmas Decorations of Jesus that she used to set up at Christmas. She will be greatly missed.
