Maria Calafiore passed away. The obituary was featured in The Gazette on August 12, 2008.
Just got back from vacation and heard the news...so sorry that we were not here. I remember Maria with great affection and was always grateful for the compassion and kindness she showed my mother.

We are all very sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Calafiore. We were next door neighbors on Harvard Avenue when I( Kathleen Leigh) was just a little tot. If my memory is correct I played with a girl, Diane, who may have been a relative. My grandmother, parents and aunts always spoke very highly of your mom and her family. May she rest in peace.
