Maria Antonia Carlin

Maria Antonia Carlin, 66, of the 1300 block of Fordyce Drive, Chesapeake, VA, passed away on September 19, 2013. Born in Puerto Rico, she was a member of the Catholic Church. Maria is survived by her beloved husband of 44 ½ years, Patrick A. Carlin; a daughter, Teresa A. Wood and husband Thomas of Chesapeake, VA; two sons, Luis G. Carlin of Portage, WI, and Michael P. Carlin Sr. and wife Laura of Suffolk, VA; two sisters, Carmen and Milagro of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico; fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Marianna; and a brother, Guillermo. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and she will be sorely missed and will live forever in our hearts. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2013, in the funeral home chapel.
