Our family was neighbors with the Celaya family back in the late 70's on E. Waverly Pl. We had just moved to Tucson from the lush green of Illinois and they were such a great introduction to the desert and its beauty. I remember Maria always rescuing plants from nurseries and lovingly bringing them to full beauty.
