Not sure what to say?

One of the many Zayre outings!

Great America trip!

Maria
I lived across the alley from Maria in Chicago. We worked together during high school at Zayre too.
Maria in the ladies department and I worked in the shoe department. I have many memories with Maria. The Zayre parties, talks, spending time with her family, seeing Maria dating my Polish friend John who ended up marrying her. So many memories!
She would say she was my older big sister since she was born a month earlier than I. But I just called her little sister...

I met Maria in late 1985 when I needed someone to fix my damaged hair. We connected the minute we met because we found out we both had Italian roots. She was always kind and caring over the months it took to fix my damaged hair because she knew how upset I was. Over the years a friendship grew and she was hairdresser and friend to my mom, dad and sister. Maria’s friendship and love for our family never wavered. As my parents aged, she even came to the house to cut their hair. That’s just who...

Maria was a kind and decent person who loved her family so very much.
May your memories of her comfort you during this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. Rest in peace with the angels fellow Guerin girl.

Maria (Mar) as I know her was a caring person, always willing to listen to me talk about my problems and giving me words of wisdom and hope. I am so sorry for your loss, she will be greatly missed.

I met Maria at Gallery of Hair in Chicago on Cicero Avenue I was 25 years old. Back then it was cool to wear your hair long so mine was down to my shoulders. I told her your not going to cut much off are you? I was nervous she said no you are going to like what I do when I’m done. Well, I did I kept going to see her for the next 37 years. I followed her wherever she went to work. We had great talks she would talk about her children and how proud she was of them and of course she would tell me...

John,
I am so sorry to hear about your wife. I understand the grief having been through it myself. But I also rejoice in knowing the Life my late husband now has eternally with God and will see him again. May your heart be comforted and find hope amid the sorrow. May you feel the arms of your Father God wrapped around you. Loving you and caring for you and your children every day. Giving you peace as only He can. My prayers are with you and your family.
